Privacy Policy

Who we are

World Cup Predictor (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a football prediction game built around the FIFA World Cup 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the World Cup Predictor mobile app or website.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your display name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash) when you create an account.
  • Predictions and league data — the predictions you submit and the leagues you join or create.
  • Device and usage data — device model, operating system version, app version, and anonymous diagnostic information used to diagnose crashes and improve the app.

How we use your information

  • To provide the game, score predictions, and run leaderboards.
  • To send service emails (e.g. password resets) and, if you opt in, match notifications.
  • To monitor reliability and fix bugs.
  • To meet legal obligations.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers we need to run World Cup Predictor (e.g. hosting and crash reporting), and only to the extent required to run the service. Display names and league standings may be visible to other members of leagues you join.

Your choices

  • You can update or delete your account at any time from the app settings.
  • You can opt out of non-essential notifications from your device settings.
  • You can request a copy of the data we hold on you, or its deletion, by emailing us using the address below.

Children

World Cup Predictor is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
